Our Vinyl Record Buyers And The Process:
We understand that your vinyl collection is precious, whether it was your own built up over the years or a loved ones that you have inherited. We try to make the process as easy as possible for you.
It’s great if you have a full list and can email it through to us, but we understand this isn’t always practical and can be very time consuming. We really have 5 key questions that we ask to determine the next steps. These are as follows:
1) How many records do you have? Doesn’t have to be exact just an idea.
2) Are they LP’s, singles or a mixture of both?
3) Some examples of the artists that you have.
4) An idea on the general condition of the records (Sleeves & vinyl)
5) Where you are located.
Once we understand the type of collection you have we either:
a) Look to make an appointment at a time suitable to you to view the records.
b) Offer some advice or contacts on the best way to sell the records.
We then come out to view the records. This can be at your house, place of work or wherever the records are located. We then inspect the records and determine a fair price for them. We will fully explain how we have reached that price and why we feel it is a fair and competitive price for the collection. We also like to chat about where and when you bought the records, your favourite artists and any of those crazy rock n roll stories you might have!
Once a price is agreed we will pay cash and take the records away and find new homes for them.
